Update Minor Point Versions of Adaptive.js

Follow the steps in this migration guide to switch between minor point versions of Adaptive.js.

Follow these two steps to update your Adaptive.js from one minor version to another.

To upgrade to a new major version of Adaptive.js, follow the Upgrade Major Versions of Adaptive.js tutorial instead.

Adaptive.js Changelog Examine the list of version changes in the Adaptive.js Changelog.


1. Update the Adaptive.js Module Version

1. In an editor app, from your project's root directory, open the package.json file.

2. Under dependencies, update the adaptivejs module version to the one that you want.

"version": "0.0.1",
"dependencies": {
    "adaptivejs": "0.2.8",
    ...

2. Update the Adaptive.js Dependencies

1. Open a new Terminal (Mac) or Command Prompt (Windows).

2. To change to your project directory, enter the following command on the command line:

cd path/to/project/directory

3. To update your dependencies to those specified in the package.json file, enter the following command on the command line:

npm install

4. To upgrade to the latest version of the Adaptive.js Generator, enter the following command on the command line:

npm install -g generator-adaptivejs

If know you need a specific version of the generator, enter the following command on the command line:

npm install -g generator-adaptivejs@0.X.X

Replace the 0.X.X part with the specific version of the Adaptive Generator that you want.
